Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Mining, Hon. Floyd Green, has announced that Jamaica is set to host the 20th staging of the Caribbean Week of Agriculture (CWA) from September 27 to October 2, 2026. Minister Green, speaking at a Post-Sectoral engagement on Thursday, May 14, at the Office of the Prime Minister, said the CWA is a critical agricultural event that brings policy makers from across the region together to discuss and craft solutions to issues such as extra-regional imports. He added that the event will further highlight Jamaica’s leadership in regional agriculture.
